Bay Chamber Concerts is Midcoast Maine's premiere presenter of the performing arts.

Founded in 1961 by brothers Andrew and Thomas Wolf, Bay Chamber Concerts features world-renowned artists. During July and August the Summer Music Festival brings classical, jazz and film events to the historic Rockport Opera House and Strand Theatre in Rockland. In the summer of 2010 Bay Chamber Concerts will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary with an exciting line-up of award-winning international artists!

Throughout the rest of the year (October through May), the Performing Arts Series features classical, jazz and world music plus dance events. Concerts are held throughout the Midcoast.

Bay Chamber Concerts is also committed to providing educational opportunities to students of all ages. For 50 years, Bay Chamber Concerts has awarded annual prizes to young Maine Musicians. Bay Chamber Concerts also offers Private Instruction, Orchestral Opportunities, and other Music Education to local musicians and community members of all ages and abilities.

We're a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization, so we rely on more than ticket sales and tuition fees to cover the cost of operations.
