What forms of payment do you take?
We accept cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard. Please note that credit card vendor fees reduce the amount of income that we receive by as much as 5%.  Please consider paying via cash or check when possible.

Are your venues handicap accessible?
Yes, all of our venues are ADA compliant and handicap accessible. Please alert the box office of any special needs when you purchase your tickets.

What's the difference between Adult A and Adult B Section seats or Prime and Value Seats?
During the Summer Music Festival, each of our venues is divided into sections A and B. During the the Performing Arts Series they are divided into Prime and Value. A Section and Prime seats are closer to the stage and more centrally located in the theaters. B Section and Value seats are located towards the rear and/or side of the house. The sections are divided differently during the Performing Arts Series and Summer Music Festival, so the same seat may be Section A in the summer, but Value during the Performing Arts Series.

Can I bring my child to the performance?
All of our events are family friendly. Please use your own judgement about the ability of your child to sit through a 2 hour performance. All persons, regardless of age, must purchase a ticket, even if they sit in your lap. We offer a significant youth discount to ages 18 and under. If your child makes a disturbance at a concert, please be considerate of your fellow patrons and remove your child from the auditorium.

I can't make the concert. What do I do?
Bay Chamber Concerts does not provide refunds. If you are not going to be able to attend the concert, you may return your tickets for a tax-deductible credit. You may exchange tickets from one concert to another within the season by calling at least 24 hours in advance. A $5 exchange fee is applicable, unless you are a subscriber.

What time does the concert start?
All concerts start promptly at published times, printed on your ticket. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the house manager, and may be seated in locations other than those with which they are ticketed. Please arrive early to park your car and find your seat.

How long is the concert?
Concerts vary in length. However, most concerts last between and hour and 45 minutes and 2 hours, including a 15 minute intermission.

Can I take a photo or video of the performance?
Leave cameras and recording devices at home. They aren't permitted at any of our concerts. For all of our summer concerts we hold a post-concert reception, where you can meet the musicians. If you want a photograph, that is the appropriate time to snap the pic. And... please turn of cell phones and pagers before the concert begins.

Can I buy a CD of the performance?
We record many of our concerts and broadcast many of them on local and state radio stations. In addition, we have Highlights, the best of the 2008-2009 season, available for purchase at most of our concerts and at our office. Also, many artists bring recordings which are available for purchase at intermission along with a number of other Bay Chamber Concerts items.

How do I advertise in your program book?
Advertisements in our program are a great way to reach a great audience. Advertisements are available for the summer only, or for the whole year round. For more information, contact the Bay Chamber Concerts office via email.

Do you know any musicians who can perform at my...?
We do know a lot of musicians and can make some referrals. However, we do not book artists for private events. If you'd like to talk to us about musicians we know and like, give us a call.

How can I perform for Bay Chamber Concerts?
We typically present rising and established artists of national and international repute. Seasons are programmed between a year and two in advance. We encourage artists to have their agents submit hard copy press kits with media for consideration to the attention of “Programming.” Artists serving as their own agent are urged to seek representation. Due to the volume of submissions, the receipt of materials will not be acknowledged and materials will not be returned.
